CA Solar Signed a 4.5MW 25-year PPA contract with an energy company in Maryland, USA

San Jose, California, October 10th, 2011 -- CA Solar LLC announced that the company has signed 25 years power purchase agreement (PPA) to design, build and finance 4.5MW solar PV generation systems in state of Maryland. The project is now fully permitted with interconnection agreement and site leasing agreement in place.  "This was a one-step forward for CA Solar in solar project development business.", Kevin Gao, VP of CA Solar, stated, "It will allow us to position ourself for steady growth into 2012 and beyond."

CA Solar Signed a joint venture agreement with Jiangsu Shangke Solar Tech Ltd to form a solar project development company in China.

Shanghai, China, September 15th, 2011 -- CA Solar LLC announced that the company has reached agreement with Jiangsu Shangke Solar Tech Ltd to form a joint venture company in China to develop solar power generation project in China. The joint venture will have registered capital of $6 million in first phase and expand to $15 million in phase-2.  signed 25 years power purchase agreement (PPA) to design, build and finance 4.5MW solar PV generation systems in state of Maryland. The project is now fully permitted with interconnection agreement and site leasing agreement in place. "China is expected to  reach 1.8GW installation capacility in 2011, grow 3 folds in 2010 level, and further grow to 20GW by 2015. This is one of fastest growing market for solar PV and this JV will enable us to participate into this market.", Kevin Gao, VP of CA Solar, stated. Kevin Gao Represented Oversea Chinese Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association and Signed Joint Development Agreement in Salt Lake City at U.S.-China Governors Forum with Development Partners from China.

Salt Lake City, Utah, July 16th, 2011 -- Kevin Gao, VP of CA Solar LLC and Director of Oversea Chinese Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association (ReturnChina.org) attended "2011 U.S.-China Governors Forum, & Sino-US Trade and Investment Culture Exchange Fair" in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kevin signed "China High-Tech Valley Agreement - Industrial Park for Emerging Technology for Project Incubation, Research and Investment" with Emerging Industry Center of Investment Association of China, BAZO City Development Group Ltd. and China City Development Foundation, on behalf of president of ReturnChina.

The four signing parties plan to work with provincial and city governments to build and invest in a few large industrial zones for Emerging Technology (BET) for investing in, incubation, research and manufacturing of said technologies and industries. BET shall focus on Energy Conservation and Environment Protection, New Generation in Information Technology, Biochemistry, High End Manufacturing, New Energy, Material and Automobile, including Cultural, Sports and Chinese Medicine related sectors - all part of the Twelve, Five-year-plan of focusing on the development of emerging industries.
