Founder and Vice President
Kevin founded the company in silicon valley with visions of:
Connecting solar manufacturers in China to solar product end markets in the west, and offering high efficiency, high quality products at lower cost to customers.
Providing ongoing services to customers locally, thereby providing customers peace of mind.
Developing solar projects with project financing.
Kevin has nearly 20 Years of experience in sales & marketing, strategic M&A, manufacturing & operation management, local sourcing & global sourcing, engineering R&D in solar, semiconductor equipment and automotive industries.
Prior to founding CA Solar LLC, Kevin was Director of Manufacturing at Electroglas, Inc. - a Nasdaq listed semiconductor equipment company located in San Jose, California - reported to Chairman, CEO, and COO of company. He was responsible for managing manufacturing operation team in US, Singapore and China. Previously he was Senior Manager at Foxsemicon Integrated Technology Inc, a Foxconn company, was responsible for business development, M&A, supply chain & logistics management for its US operation.
Kevin also spent over 10 years in engineering R&D. He worked as a senior engineer at Lam Research Corporation, a leading semiconductor equipment company, developed its flagship wafer etch product that took over the leadership position from its biggest competitor Applied Materials. He also worked at Dana Corporation and Rockwell International Corporation in developing clutches and axles in automotive industries.
Kevin is a member of American Solar Energy Society and Nor Cal Solar. Kevin holds a Master's of Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Cincinnati. He attended MBA program at California State University. Kevin Holds three US patents, and one patent in Europe and Brazil.
Sean White
Executive Solar Consultant
Dr. Sean White is an Executive Solar Consultant at CA Solar LLC. Dr. White is also an advanced PV Design Adjunct Professor at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California & has also taught PV at Merritt College in Oakland California, where he gave his students the NABCEP Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge Examination. He is also a visiting PV Design & Installation Instructor at Infinite Solar School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Sean has had hundreds of students across California solar industries including students from leading solar companies such SunPower Corporation & Solyndra. He also designs commercial and residential PV systems in San Francisco Bay Area where he has a PV Design Service. He has designed several solar farm projects over mega watts and has done consultancy for a number of solar installation firms such as Fidelity Roof & Solar in Oakland, Century Solar in Hayward & Green House Energy in the Washington DC Metro Area. Dr White is a California licensed solar installer, and is member of The American Solar Energy Society, Northern California Solar Energy Association & the Redwood Empire Solar Energy Association.
Robert Holz
Consulting Adviser, New York
Robert Holz has 20 years experience in sales within the energy industry. He has completed numerous, commercial solar projects.
Mr. Holz was the Director of Sales (Eastern Region) for Solar Integrated Technologies. There he developed and installed solar electric systems for public and private organizations. He was also responsible for building and servicing distributorships.
Robert also spent a number of years at Chevron Energy Solutions as their New York Business Development Manager. He was responsible for large scale energy efficiency project sales. While at Chevron, he completed the largest solar installation in western New York at State University of New York (Buffalo).
Mr. Holz also worked at Johnson Controls Inc. as Sr. Account Executive. There he was responsible for developing and implementing large scale energy efficiency projects within the heath care industry.
Robert Benedict
Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Sacramento, CA
Robert Benedict started his career in management consulting and as an Analyst he rose to the top of his career area to the Sr. VP of sales and marketing. His knowledge of sales and sales management is extensive having spent 15 plus years training different sales teams. In some case Robert was instrumental in increased revenues by up to 30% gross sales per year. Industries where he has experience include the following: Consulting, Solar, Reusable Energy, Display & Internet Marketing, Lighting & Construction
Mr. Benedict has spent his career helping company’s increase their ROI by investigating the weaknesses that have prevented them from thenet profit they deserve. Through reviewing these companies’ he finds the holes and corrects them by training their staff with new methods of performance. Mr. Benedict’s philosophy in business is “Where is the Money”, and he teaches companies and individuals how to get more.
His ability is to peer deeply into a subject, thought (idea), plan and situation to reveal the information which lays multiple layers beyond the surface at its core. While being open minded knowing that each event has many possibilities; no matter who is viewing the event, because we see from our eyes not the eyes of others.

Ron Nussle, Jr, CPM
Supply Chain Executive Consultant
Ron Nussle, Jr, C.P.M. is President of ICR Lean Supply, LLC. Ron founded ICR Lean Supply, LLC which is currently sharing productivity solutions and outsourcing best-practices with companies in Europe, Canada and the US. Ron is the author of Integrated Cost Reduction (Reed Press, 2004) and was recently named one of the Top30 Supply Chain “Pros to Know” in the United States by iSource magazine. Ron has written almost a dozen magazine articles, speaks at conferences (including APICS2004 World-wide) and is also a current board member of a NASDAQ company.
From 2001-2004, Ron was the Managing Director of Global Materials and Supply Chain at Lam Research Corporation, a $1.5B+ semiconductor equipment manufacturer located in Silicon Valley, CA. Ron reported to the President/COO and oversaw the complete reengineering of Lam’s Supply Chain organization, processes and IT systems. Inventory turns went from 2.5 to 7.3, and company Gross Margin from 34% to 51%, both records for the company. Because of Ron's work, Lam set a higher benchmark standard for operation and supply chain executives of semiconductor equipment companies in Silicon Vallay.
Prior to joining Lam Research, Nussle was Director of Strategic Supply Chain Management for Cessna Aircraft Company. Nussle was responsible to plan, organize and control the annual acquisition of $1.3 billion of production materials. Before being recruited to Cessna, Ron spent 12 years and held a number of increasingly responsible positions at Honeywell Aerospace in Engineering, Operations M&A and Program Management.
Ron has participated in over 200 VA/VE and Design-to-Cost projects in the past 10 years. Nussle received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona. Ron has participated in extensive professional development from such schools as MIT, Thunderbird International University and the Wharton School of Business.
Dr. Yiqing Du, Ph.D, CFA
Chairman
Dr. Yiqing Du is non-executive Chairman of Board. Dr. Du is a certified CFA member - a prestige association of investment professionals. Dr. Du has spent over 5 years in financial and fund management industry as Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley (MSCI), led a team of senior developers in developing the most advanced risk analysis and benchmark tools for fund and asset managers globally. Later MSCI spun off from Morgan Stanley and she was promoted to Vice President of company. Prior to this, Dr. Du worked at Microsoft as a software engineer from 2000-2004. Before joining Microsoft, Dr. Du was a Post-Doctorate Researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in fields of plasma, electro-magnetic field, fluid dynamics, and DARPA projects sponsored by NASA.
Yiqing holds Ph.D degree of Applied Mathematics from Brown University, and Master degree from Nankai University, China. Dr. Du published a number of papers in leading research journals including the Science Magazine. Dr. Du holds one US patent.
